Windstar To Renovate Staterooms Across Fleet

Windstar Cruises will be investing an additional $3 million to renovate staterooms aboard the Wind Star and Wind Spirit, the line’s oldest yachts.

before afterThe new renovated staterooms will introduce a new stateroom layout and new furniture to each stateroom. Each stateroom will have it’s current desk and vanity set-up replaced with a new sofa in the center of the stateroom. The new sofa features a unique design, where guests can raise and lower the middle section to either serve as a middle cushion of the couch or a table with the remaining couch pieces serving as chairs. The center dresser located next to the bed will be replaced with a new, modern dresser.

The staterooms aboard the Wind Surf and Wind Spirit recently were redecorated in an $18 million dollar renovation in 2012. Each stateroom received new leather headboards, stately arm chairs, linen wall coverings, new lighting features, elegant window coverings, plush wool carpeting, art work, and stylish bed cushions. Additionally, corridors were completely renovated from floor to ceiling with new wall coverings, carpeting, ceiling finishes, lighting, and art work.
