Windstar Cruises Unveils New Logo

Windstar Cruises has unveiled a fresh logo design in preparation for a new marketing communications plan.

PrintAccording to Windstar, the new logo reflects the line’s unique style of elegant, yet casual yacht experience. Compared to the line’s former logo, the new design features a typeface reflective of the yachting lifestyle and incorporates a small blue wave in the background, indicative of the line’s sailing yacht experience.

“We wanted a refreshed look that keeps pace with the company as we enter into a new era of growth as the market leader in small ship cruising, yet still reflects our heritage of sailing,” said Hans Birkholz, president and chief executive officer of Windstar Cruises. “We will also be launching a new website in June of this year to align with our fresh image.”

Windstar’s new brand image comes at an important time for the growing cruise line. The line is only days away from the launch of their first motor yacht, the Star Pride, which will be later joined by two sister ships. The line will also make their return to the popular and intimate Tahiti aboard one of their sailing yachts in only a matter of days.
