Windstar Cruises Heats up the Tropics with 2-For-1 Cruise Fares

Windstar Cruises is offering a two-for-one cruise fare, plus bonus savings of up to $1,000 per stateroom on select tropical itineraries. Guests can sail through the Caribbean islands, cruise the Panama Canal, or just enjoy the casual elegance on board any of Windstar’s three sailing ships starting at $1,299 per person, based on double occupancy when booked by October 27th, 2012. The winter season also marks the completion of the company’s $18 million fleet-wide renovation project with all yachts sailing with stem to stern enhancements.

Windstar explores the eclectic Caribbean, sailing from Dutch St. Maarten and visiting Le Marin, Pigeon Island, Roseau, Falmouth Harbor and Gustavia on Wind Surf’s seven-day Flavors of the Caribbean voyages.  The voyage starts in St. Maarten and continues on to Le Marin, Pigoen Island, Roseau, Les Saintes and St. Kitts. Guests will also sail past the majestic volcanic spires of the Pitons

Guests discover a yachtsman’s paradise while visiting exclusive ports like glamorous Tortola and the enchanting British Virgin Islands on Wind Surf’s Yachtsman’s Caribbean voyages. For those looking for local flavor, a trip to Soper’s Hole Wharf – Blackbeard’s old stomping ground, is the highlight. Others may prefer to mingle with the glitterati in St. Barts. The seven-day voyage leaves from St. Maarten and visits Falmouth, Tortola, Jost Van Dyke (overnight), Virgin Gorda (overnight) and Gustavia.

The third Caribbean voyage offered in the two-for-one promotion is the Jewels of the Windward Islands where guests can sail on Wind Spirit to the unspoiled Grenadines and discover the rugged natural beauty of St. Lucia. Leaving from Barbados, Wind Spirit visits Bequia, Tobago Cays (overnight), Mayreau, Pigeon Island and St. George’s. For those looking for the untouched islands, this is the perfect voyage.

The ship also visits Isla De Coiba, Golfito, Bhaia Drake and Puerto Caldera on this seven-day cruise. Guests can dive into the waters surround Isla de Coiba to explore one of the Pacific Coast’s most amazing coral reefs, or learn more about the surrounding wildlife from the local Naturalist who comes on board.

The Wind Star transatlantic crossing, the perfect opportunity to relax, is also available on the special two-for-one pricing. To book a sailing now, contact a travel professional or call Windstar Cruises at 800-258-7245.
