In response to competing cruise lines adding ships to the Caribbean market in the summer of 2014, Royal Caribbean has announced that new, shorter cruises will be offered from South Florida beginning in early 2014.

The newly revitalized Vision of the Seas will begin sailing 4 and 5 night Caribbean cruises from Port EvergladesĀ beginningĀ on April 29, 2014 through November 1, 2014. The four night itinerary will include a call in Cozumel, Mexico with two days at sea. One five night itinerary will call in Cozumel, Mexico and Roatan, Honduras with two days at sea. The other five night itinerary will offer guests calls in Key West, Florida and Georgetown, Grand Cayman with 2 days at sea. These new, shorter cruises are expected to go on sale to the public soon.

The addition of Vision of the Seas to Royal’s summer lineup will give Royal Caribbean cruisers another option for summer and fall Caribbean cruising.
