It would seem that MSC Cruises is giving Disney and Princess a run for their money when it comes to entertaining crowds with their ship horns.
A YouTube video showing MSC Cruise’s MSC Magnifica playing the White Stripes “Seven Nation Army” on her horns has gone viral across the internet over the past few days. The video was taken a year ago at the birthday celebration for the Harbor of Hamburg, but was just recently uploaded to YouTube. A similar, yet lesser quality video, was posted on YouTube earlier last year following the event.
The MSC Magnifica is not equipped with special musical horns as Disney’s ships or Princess’ Royal Princes are, making this mini-concert much more intriguing. While we all love the horns found aboard the ships of Disney or the Royal Princess, I believe it takes some true talent to be able to coordinate a song on a ship’s single tone horn.
Now, if only every horn battle could be elevated to this level.
