September 11, 2001

On September 11, 2011 4 planes were hijacked by Muslim terrorists. 3 of these planes were flown into buildings including: The World Trade Center Towers 1 & 2, and the Pentagon. The 4th plane crashed into a field in Shanksville, Pennsylvania after the brave passengers tried to retake the plane from the terrorists. In this video below, it shows the events that happened on that clear September morning 10 years ago, and the most recent attacks in the past 10 years. THIS VIDEO IS UPSETTING, AND HAS SOME UPSETTING SCENES, PLEASE WATCH IT AT YOUR DISCRETION. THIS IS NOT MY VIDEO.

One of the most significant of the events that took place on that day was United Airlines Flight 93. After 4 hijackers had taken over the plane, and turned the plane around towards Washington DC, the passengers and crew of Flight 93 decided to take action. After learning about the attacks on the WTC Towers and the Pentagon, the brave passengers and crew formed a plan to storm the cockpit and hijackers and retake control of the plane, and land it safely. It was rumored that one passenger was a small airplane pilot, but with the right guidance from Air Traffic Control, he may have been able to land the plane safely. Regardless, the heroic efforts of the passengers and crew undoubtedly saved many more lives that day, and they are truly the first American heroes of the 21st century. We have no video of what happened onboard that plane that day, but based on phone calls, and the Black Boxes we can have an idea of what happened on that plane. In this next video, I will show a clip from the movie, “United 93.” This is the scene where the passengers and crew storm the cockpit and hijackers. THIS SCENE IS UPSETTING AND CONTAINS SOME GRUESOME DETAILS, PLEASE WATCH AT YOUR DISCRETION. I DO NOT OWN THIS VIDEO.

September 11 made a huge impact on the cruise and travel industry. Airports were closed for days, people were afraid to travel, and in once case, bankrupted a cruise line. For the first time in history, every airport in the US was closed, and eerie silence filled the skies, and the smoke continued to rise from the World Trade Center. 10 years later, we are still recovering, but have come out as strong as ever. If anything the terrorists of 9/11 have given us more strength, courage, and the will to move on. They have given all Americans more common ground, and in the end, united us into one. We as Americans still hold the rights to Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. In the end, we are one, we are The United States of America.

God bless all victims and their families of 9/11, and The United States of America.

Never Forget.
