Are you ready to discover the world’s newest smart ship? Join Senior Editor Mike Faust November 6 – 8 as he explores Royal Caribbean’s new Anthem of the Seas.

The Ship

Royal Caribbean’s Anthem of the Seas is the second ship in the Quantum Class. Built with millennials and tech lovers in mind, this ship is packed with the latest technology at sea. From special RFID wristbands that act as your room key, to robotic bartenders, this ship is truly a modern marvel. Anthem of the Seas also features a number of unique amenities and activities, including North Star, a suspended observation pod that soars over the ship; SportsPlex, a multipurpose sports complex featuring bumper cars, a circus academy, basketball, and table tennis; RipCord, a simulated skydiving experience; a wide array of specialty and celebrity restaurants, including Jamie’s Italian; and many more features worthy of their own anthem.

The Ship By The Numbers

4,905 guests, 168,666 gross registered tons, 18 dining options, 16 passengers decks, 1,141 feet long, 22 knots cruising speed.

The Itinerary

This particular sailing is a preview sailing with no ports of call. Rather, Anthem of the Seas will depart Bayonne, New Jersey on November 6th for a two night cruise to nowhere on the Atlantic Ocean.
