Royal Caribbean To Replace Anthem of the Seas In Fort Lauderdale, Quantum In New Jersey

Following the announcement of Quantum of the Seas deployment to Shanghai, Royal Caribbean has announced a number of redeployments throughout the world to accommodate the moving ships.

Initially, Royal Caribbean’s Liberty of the Seas will take over the scheduled summer sailings to Bermuda, the Caribbean, and Canada and New England from Bayonne during the summer of 2015. The Liberty of the Seas will redeploy to Bayonne in May 2015 from Port Everglades.

Royal Caribbean’s Anthem of the Seas, which debuts in April 2015, will then take over the Bayonne to Bahamas and Caribbean sailings during the winter of 2015/16. The arrival of Anthem of the Seas at Bayonne will effectively fill the gap left by the departure of Quantum of the Seas for the winter 2015/16 cruise season.

Fort Lauderdale’s Port Everglades will now receive the Navigator of the Seas to take over the void left by the redeployment of Anthem of the Seas to Bayonne during the winter of 2015/16. The Navigator of the Seas, which will be replaced by the Liberty of the Seas in Galveston, will offer a season of six to eight night sailings to the Caribbean during the winter of 2015/16. Navigator of the Seas will be joining fleetmates Oasis, Allure, and Independence in offering sailings from Port Everglades during the winter 2015/16 season.

The new sailings, with the exception of Anthem of the Seas sailings, are currently available for booking by all Royal Caribbean guests. The Anthem of the Sea’s winter 2015/16 sailings will open for booking by Crown & Anchor Society members on April 25th.
