The Princess Seawitch, perhaps the most iconic brand and logo in the cruise industry, will soon take a prominent place on the bows and hulls of the Princess fleet.
The new livery, which will bring a modern and stylish look to the Princess fleet, will first debut in 2017 on the bow of the Majestic Princess, the first of Princess’ ships to be built specifically for the Chinese market. The new livery, according to Princess, “symbolizes the smooth and flowing gracefulness of ocean waves and represents the excitement and adventure of discovering the best the world has to offer on a Princess cruise vacation.”
“For nearly half a century our Princess logo has represented the adventure of cruise travel around the globe,” said Jan Swartz, Princess Cruises president. “Now our ships sail to more than 360 ports of call worldwide and will be instantly recognized from afar. As the very first cruise ship built for China, we take great pride that Majestic Princess is our first ship to proudly display our new livery design.”
Following the debut aboard Majestic Princess, the livery will be rolled out across the rest of the fleet over the coming years.
The new livery comes at a time of renewal at Princess, which just recently debuted “The Come Back New Promise,” a fleet revitalization program which will bring a number of new partnerships and amenities to the Princess fleet, including Chef Curtis Stone’s SHARE restaurant, the Princess Luxury Bed, Discovery at Sea, and Norman Love’s Chocolate Journeys.
