Norwegian Epic Debuts New Features Following Renovation

Norwegian Epic, Norwegian Cruise Line’s largest ship to date, has just completed a three week drydock, debuting a host of new enhancements and entertainment.

Norwegian continues its focus on Broadway style entertainment, adding a new Broadway hit for guests to enjoy, Priscilla Queen of the Desert – The Musical. Additionally, the nightlife lineup will see the addition of The Tavern Club, an entertainment venue themed after the Beatles hotspot.

The upper decks of Norwegian Epic have also seen change. Located in the Kid’s Aqua Park is SplashGolf, a new water infused mini golf course, adding a new level of fun to the ship’s sports and water activities.

“Norwegian Epic’s extended dry dock has given us the opportunity to not only enhance the ship’s public spaces but to add significant new features, including a brand new Tony Award-winning musical with Priscilla Queen of the Desert, a new entertainment venue with The Cavern Club and new activities like SplashGolf,” said Andy Stuart, president and chief operating officer of Norwegian Cruise Line. “We continue to heavily invest in our current fleet, to ensure that guests have a consistent experience across all Norwegian ships and the freedom and flexibility to create their ideal cruise vacation.”

New additions also include a library, card room, and new photo gallery. The Norwegian Epic also received a refresh of decor and carpeting throughout her speciality restaurants, bars, theater, and other public areas.

The Norwegian Epic will soon begin a full winter and summer season in the Mediterranean, sailing from Barcelona, Spain.
