Norwegian Cruise Line, beginning in summer 2017, will position 5 ships in Europe, the largest deployment to the region in Norwegian’s history.
Sailing on 8 and 9 night cruises from Copenhagen, Norwegian Getaway, a newcomer to the Norwegian fleet, will sail the Baltic capitals, visiting a number of world class cities, such as Tallinn, Helsinki, Stockholm, and overnighting in St. Petersburg.
For guests looking to include Germany on their Europe getaway, the Norwegian Jade will homeport in Hamburg, a first for Norwegian Cruise Line. The Norwegian Jade will offer a unique collection of itineraries, including 7 and 9 day western Europe cruises, 9 and 10 day Norwegian Fjords cruises, 12 day Norway and North Cape cruises, and a 14 day cruise to Norway, Iceland, and the United Kingdom. A number of Norwegian Jade’s sailings will also off the opportunity to begin the sailing in either Southampton or Amsterdam rather than Hamburg.
“With these exciting new summer European itineraries, we are offering our guests a wider variety of adventurous itineraries that span the continent, while also bringing one of our newest and most innovative ships to Europe”, said Andy Stuart, president and chief operating officer of Norwegian Cruise Line.
Through summer 2017, Norwegian Epic will continue to sail the western Mediterranean, offering embarkation in Barcelona, Civitavecchia (Rome), and Marseille. Norwegian Spirit will offer 10 and 11 night sailings of the Mediterranean between Barcelona and Venice, while Norwegian Star will begin sailings from Venice to the Greek Isles and Turkey.
