Norwegian Announces “Norwegian NEXT” Renovation Program

Norwegian Cruise Line has announced it is investing over $250 million in their new Norwegian NEXT renovation program.

According to Norwegian, the renovations will bring new enhancements, experiences and transformations throughout the fleet, with the goal of elevating the guest experience and building on the success of the line’s two new ships: Norwegian Breakaway and Norwegian Getaway.  The fleet enhancements will come primarily in the form of new dining spaces, new entertainment options, new activities, and a number of ship enhancements.

New enhancements will include the new menus throughout the main dining rooms and Garden Cafe, a new wine menu, a destination focused beer selection, the addition of the late night H2GLOW Party, O’Sheehan’s Neighborhood Bar & Grill, Sugarcane Mojito Bar, and the introduction of treats from Carlo’s Bake Shop. Additional enhancements will also be added throughout the fleet and Norwegian’s private destinations.

A number of ships have already undergone the renovations, including the Norwegian Jewel, Pearl, Sky, and Spirit.

“The youngest fleet at sea continues to get even better with our robust enhancement program taking place over the next two years,” said Kevin Sheehan, Norwegian Cruise Line’s chief executive officer. “We want to continue to provide fresh and relevant experiences to our guests every time they sail with us. We are investing significantly in making sure that our guests have the vacation of a lifetime and fully experience what it means to Cruise like a Norwegian.”
