A New View of Cruising

A drone video shot during PONANT’s Adriatic sailing aboard one of its luxury expedition yachts, Le Soléal, has been selected for the first New York City Drone Film Festival.

The footage was shot by Freeway Drone and features aerial footage of the turquoise seas, hidden coves, cliffs and waterfalls along the Dalmatian and Aegean Coast.

Look for it March 7, 2015, at the Directors Guild of America Theater in New York City — or preview it here:

Founded in 1988 by Jean-Emmanuel Sauvée and a dozen merchant navy officers PONANT has four intimate cruise ships, flying the French flag. Berthing in ports only accessible to small capacity ships, Le Ponant (32 staterooms), Le Boréal, L’Austral and Le Soléal (132 staterooms and suites) explore the Poles, North Europe, Mediterranean, the Caribbean, Central America, South America, Asia and Oceania on cruises ranging from three to 21 nights. In Spring 2015, PONANT will welcome its fifth ship, Le Lyrial.
