New Development in Celebrity Summit Overboard

Last week we reported on a overboard on board Celebrity Cruises’ Celebrity Summit. (You can read the full story HERE.)We have recently learned new information through a comment left on our blog from a passenger who was on that cruise. She says…

I was on this ship last week and the woman jumped/fell a few minutes after midnight. The boat slowed down and stayed in the area for about 9 hours before they handed over the full.time task to the coast guard. Allegedly her husband was also employed and were seen fighting that night he was held in a holding cell.  – Maya P.

The Celebrity Summit was sailing between San Juan and Barbados at the reported time of the incident. The US Coast Guard suspended their search last week. We will continue to keep you updated on this story as it develops further. If you have any more information on this incident please either comment on this post or email me at mikeyscruiseblog@gmail.com.
