MSC Divina Arrives In Miami (Video & Photos)

Earlier this morning, the MSC Divina slowly made her way into her new home port of Miami, Florida. The ship was flanked by PortMiami fireboats with cannons turned to full blast and 3 tiny red and white Fiats gliding through the channel waters.

The floating Fiats quickly and rapidly moved around the Divina, proclaiming the Italians have arrived in Miami. The MSC Divina eventually made her way up the main channel, turned in the basin, and docked at terminal H. The MSC Divina is currently docked in Miami on an overnight call and will wrap up her trans Atlantic sailing tomorrow morning.

“With MSC Divina’s debut, we are thrilled to welcome one of our finest and most innovative vessels to North America,” said Richard Sasso, President and CEO of MSC Cruises USA.  “Today marks an important milestone for MSC Cruises as we continue to grow in this region, offering more destinations and appealing to wider audiences.  We look forward to offering North American cruisers something new and fresh.”

Check out the highlights from the Divina’s arrival into PortMiami in the video above and the photos below.
