Many cruise lines offer discounts to active and retired US and Canadian military personnel, but one cruise line goes beyond the call of duty to ensure our service members find much needed relaxation and rest. MSC Cruises, a rapidly growing cruise brand in North America, has made a pledge to offer unparalleled benefits and assistance to our military members sailing on a cruise vacation.
Beginning with booking, retired and active duty US and Canadian military personnel receive a 10% discount on balcony, suite, and MSC Yacht Club staterooms. A 5% discount will be applied to oceanview or interior. Service members may use this discount on as many staterooms as they’d prefer, offering the chance to sail with as many friends or family as they choose. Additionally, if the service member is traveling with children under the age of 11, they will sail free as the 3rd of 4th guest in the stateroom.
The newest benefit available to service members by MSC Cruises was announced earlier in November on Veteran’s Day. At a special Veteran’s Day event in Miami, MSC Cruises announced a new policy to extend a full cruise credit to military personnel who are redeployed during their original cruise travel date. The policy, which is a first for the cruise industry, offers military personnel additional protection in the event they are no longer able to travel due to official orders.
Those serving in our military and their families sacrifice more than many of us are willing to. MSC Cruises, offering generous discounts and reservation flexibility, go above and beyond to ensure those who protect us are afforded the opportunity to relax, recharge, and enjoy time with their family and friends.

MSC Cruises’ MSC Divina recently returned to PortMiami from the Mediterranean to sail year round eastern, western, and southern Caribbean cruises.
