The brand new MSC Divina was selected as the 2012 Gold Magellan Award winner in the Cruise Ship/Large Cruise Ship (over 1,200 guests) category. MSC Cruises’ MSC Club loyalty program was also recognized with a Silver Magellan Award in the Advertising/Marketing  category for its innovative campaign.

“In 2012, creativity reached new heights among marketers and designers in the travel industry,” said Arnie Weissmann, editor in chief of Travel Weekly. “This year’s Magellan entries were inspiring overall, and those who ended up in the winner’s circle truly represent the best of the best.”

“MSC Cruises is truly honored to be recognized by our travel industry colleagues. The Magellan Awards acknowledge our commitment to our guests, whether it is providing them the opportunity to cruise on ships with refined style, luxury and contemporary elegance or acknowledging their value with special privileges and benefits only available to MSC Club members,” said Richard E. Sasso, president and CEO of MSC Cruises (USA), Inc.
