According to top industry trade, MSC Cruises is poised to announce the construction of two new ships during a press conference on Thursday.
The press conference will take place in Paris, France in partnership with STX France, the yard contracted to construct the two new ships.
The two new ships are expected to be larger than the line’s current ships, potentially growing significantly in width.
Additional rumors speculate the ships will be built with a focus on tailoring the onboard experience towards the North American market. If the rumors prove to be true, the new ships would join the MSC Divina in the North American market, which is currently sailing from Miami, Florida.
