Holland America Line has added a new Five-Star level to its Mariner Society loyalty program that rewards frequent cruisers. Guests with 500 or more Cruise Day Credits with the line will be awarded the new status and attain a host of new benefits and perks when they sail on a Holland America Line cruise.
The Mariner Society rewards program offers a five-level progressive membership with a wide range of cruise and on-board savings and extra values, as well as advance information about the latest product enhancements. All guests who sail with Holland America Line are automatically welcomed into the Mariner Society and will receive benefits starting with their second cruise. In addition, any guests who have sailed aboard a World’s Leading Cruise Lines ship (Carnival Cruise Lines, Princess Cruises, Cunard Line, Seabourn or Costa Cruises) are also automatically enrolled in the program as a Star Mariner when making their first booking with Holland America Line.
“Holland America Line has very loyal guests that quickly accumulate cruise days by sailing with us for weeks, even months at a time,” said Richard Meadows, executive vice president, marketing, sales and guest programs. “Many of our guests are reaching a higher level of cruise days, so we have introduced a new level of the Mariner Society program that features more benefits and rewards.”
Guests automatically collect additional Cruise Day Credits based on their on-board spending and through the purchase of one of the premium line’s suite options.
New Five-Star Mariner
At the top of the tiers with 500 Cruise Day Credits earned, Five-Star guests enjoy the benefits of all Star levels below, plus new discounts and extras, including a 50 percent discount on a 100-minute Internet package, two complimentary dinners at the Pinnacle Grill (surcharge only) and one complimentary day-pass per cruise to the Greenhouse Spa and Salon Thermal Suite. Five-Star guests also receive one complimentary Culinary Arts Center cooking class per cruise. Guests aboard ms Prinsendam receive a third complimentary Pinnacle Grill dinner, in lieu of a day pass since the ship does not have a Thermal Suite.
