Here I Come Freedom!

I am so excited! On August 7, 2011 I will be departing the Port of  Fort Lauderdale onboard the beautiful Carnival Freedom, on a 6 night western Caribbean cruise! This cruise is a big deal to me because, well it’s a cruise! It is also very important because it is my halfway to Platinum cruise! That may not sound as important as it is to me, but I am so excited! First, I love cruising on Carnival! (Sorry Shon (CruiseMan3000,) and Jordan! (RCI_fans) 🙂 Secondly, I love the ship! The itinerary is also amazing! It includes 2 sea days, Key West, Grand Cayman, and Ocho Rios! This will be my 2nd cruise to Key West, 3rd to Grand Cayman, and 1st time to Ocho Rios! I am so excited to return to Key West and Grand Cayman, and really excited to sail to Ocho Rios! I will start looking at excursions very soon, but in the meantime, if anyone knows any good excursions to any of these ports, please let me know in the comments below! Thanks! Anyway, as I try to calm down from ranting about the Freedom, I am now realizing…I have no other news. 🙁 I want to apologize really quick for not posting yesterday, and it might have to be like that for a while, I am very busy for the next 4 weeks, and it will be hard for me to post everyday, so I will now write blogs Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, but just until the week of July 10th. After that, we will be back on schedule for a blog every day. As you may have noticed I posted a video on Sunday, this is something that I will be trying here on the blog. Every Sunday, I will post a new “Cruise Video of the Week.” I will randomly search the web for a cruise video, and post it for all to see! If you would like to have your cruise video be the cruise video of the week, then upload it to our Facebook page, and we will post it here! Well, that is it for tonight, I hope you have enjoyed this blog, and will see all of you (virtually) again on Thursday! Have a great week!

-Mikey

(P.S. For some odd reason, I have the feeling that this blog has horrible grammar, and just sounds bad, but I am too tired to check it so I guess it will stay how it is!)

I am glad you’re sailing Carnival, but don’t knock NCL either! They have a great cruising brand that has swept me off my feet–it may do the same for you. But, I am sure Jordan would rather you sail with RCI, haha.
