Day 3: At Sea
So today I was at sea the whole day and I have to admit, it was a very non-eventful day. I enjoyed that though because it finally gave me some time to rest after two very demanding days. I woke up today, went for a jog looking out at the beautiful view of the vast sea in front of me, and sat down at a small café in Central Park for breakfast. Then, I retired to the pool where I did nothing but drink smoothies and bask in the sun for a good 4 hours.
At 2:30, my cousins and I were trying to find something interesting to do and we stumbled upon a movie showing of Madagascar 3 in the Amber Theatre. Since none of us had ever seen it before we decided to watch it. I have to say, it was really funny!
After that we got dressed up in casual clothing and enjoyed a nice Venetian themed dinner in the Main Dining Room. I got a caesar salad, rigatoni with marinara sauce and chocolate cake for dessert. Everything was spectacular! The food was absolutely terrific.
Then, we went to go see the musical CHICAGO. I have to admit, for an actor who absolutely cannot get enough of plays and musicals, I was unimpressed by it. I was not a fan of the plot and it wasn’t all that funny. However, there was some clever choreography and blocking during some of the songs so it wasn’t all that bad.
Finally, I decided to take a walk around the ship which ended up stopping at the Ice Cream Parlor on the Boardwalk where I got a chocolate chip cookie dough milkshake. I then went to go play some cards with my family which ended up lasting over an hour for one card game! (Yours truly won by the way ;P )
I’m glad that I got a nice day off from all of the hectic-ness of the last few days, but I cannot wait to experience the shops and beaches of St. Thomas tomorrow. Talk to you all again tomorrow! 🙂
