According to Cunard, the Queen Mary 2 briefly dropped anchor off of the Bali Coast to stage the photographs of Captain Oprey. For the photo shoot, the Captain surveyed the scene from the Queen Mary 2’s bulbous bow,Ā an underwater projection that minimizes the creation of bow waves around the waterline when the ship is under way.

The unique photo shoot was used to celebrate the Queen Mary 2’s 10th anniversary year and her World Cruise.
