Cruise Ship Dreams

I think they are the best types of dreams, cruising dreams. Everything is perfect, the ship, the food, the ports. Well that’s about the same as a normal cruise, but this one is free! I love to have cruising dreams, but they are like a real cruise, they only come along once in a while. It’s strange though because, basically cruising is my life and I seem to almost never have these dreams, but when I do they are the best dreams I ever have, and in this blog today I will recap some of these dreams as well as I can remember…

“My Own Ship”

It was me and some of my closest friends, and we were building the world’s largest cruise ship. It didn’t take long, but we finished it. The ship was gleaming, it was almost entirely glass, with floor after floor of balcony staterooms and shining crystal clear glass. When we finally boarded the ship, it was beautiful. The lobby was magnificent, with hanging glass stairways, and most of the cabins were situated around the lobby. The lobby soared through almost every deck. I started to walk around, past restaurants, shops, and bars. I finally came to the aft restaurant, which was sort of half restaurant and half theater, it was dinner and a show. All of my friends and family were there dining and taking in a great show, so I strolled back to the bridge, which was almost the size of a closet, and we sailed further out to the sea…

“Magic”

Somehow I just appeared in the middle of the brand new Carnival Magic, there I was with my two friends, Alec & Alex. We started to stroll around the Lido looking for the ice cream machines, and never found it, but we continued on as I gave a tour of the ship to my friends. We passed one of the water slides, through a small, elegant restaurant overlooking the Lido, and somehow we got lost, and never returned to the Lido…

Those 2 dreams are the only 2 that I can really remember, but they were also some of my best cruising dreams. The first one is my all time favorite dream, because that it is my real dream, to one day build my own cruise ship, or you know have a shipyard build me a cruise ship, the second option sounds a lot easier! Have a great weekend everyone!

One reply on “Cruise Ship Dreams”

When I dream of cruiseships I always seem to dream of being on the top deck and looking out at the turquoise bluewater. The waves have lots of foam and the water is clear all the way to the thick white sand on the bottom. The ship is out in the middle of the ocean but yet you could step off at anytime take a swim and safely touch the sandy bottom. Wouldn’t that be fun if you could really do that!
