Costa Cruises To Celebrate 2014 FIFA World Cup Across Fleet

Costa Cruises has announced plans to celebrate the 2014 FIFA World Cup throughout their fleet with a number of exciting soccer themed activities and television broadcasts of the matches.

Costa Cruises is currently planning to broadcast the matches across their 12 ship fleet, broadcasting each match either on the ship’s poolside movie screen, the main theater, or secondary venues aboard the ship. In addition, guests will have the opportunity to partake in various activities designed to promote their favorite team, such as shirt customization and designing team banners.

Guests will also have an opportunity to participate in a number of soccer tournaments, soccer ball dribbling contests, team victory dance lessons, and World Cup trivia games. Through their participation, guests also have the chance to win a number of exclusive World Cup prizes. Special entertainment will also be added to each ship, including flash-mob Brazilian dances to the tune of the official World Cup anthem, Brazilian-style appetizers with a Caipirinha — Brazil’s national cocktail — and election of “Mister World Cup 2014.”

The 2014 FIFA World Cup begins on June 11th and will run through July 13th.
