Celebrity Introduces Gambling Ship Wide

Celebrity Cruises has announced that they have partnered up with Cantor Gaming, to bring mobile casino gaming to Celebrity guests.

According to Celebrity, “guests will be able to play the full suite of Cantor Gaming mobile casino games on their personal smartphones and tablets by downloading the application, which is compatible with Apple and Android devices.” Guests can download the app via the ship’s WiFi.

After downloading the app, guests can open a “virtual wallet” account at the casino, which will allow them to fund their gaming and use as a holding account for their winnings. The gaming app will offer a selection of slots, table games and video poker. The new app will allow guests to take the casino “mobile,” allowing guests to play from their stateroom, next to the pool, or even on the Lawn Club while in international waters.

The new gaming system will soon be installed aboard the line’s five Solstice Class ships and four recently “Solsticized” Millennium Class ships.

Kind of sad to think people would want this on a ship. The casino is enough. Way to many other things to do when on vacation and in foreign lands! Celebrity should put the monrey into more entertainment o the ships than casinos.
