Carnival Vista To Sail The Caribbean From Miami

Carnival’s upcoming Carnival Vista, a ship packed full of innovative features and amenities, will sail year round from PortMiami to the Caribbean beginning in December 2016.

The new flagship of the Carnival fleet will offer cruisers two unique itineraries from PortiMiami. A shorter six night western Caribbean itinerary will offer calls in the popular ports of Ocho Rios, Grand Cayman, and Cozumel. A longer, more port intensive eight night sailing will call in Aruba, Curacao, Bonaire, Grand Turk, San Juan, St. Kitts, St. Maarten, and La Romana before returning to South Florida.

In addition to the six and eight night itineraries, Carnival Vista will also offer guests a variety of “one off” sailings of varying lengths.

The Carnival Vista, which is slated to debut in the Mediterranean in May 2016. Following a summer of itineraries across the Mediterranean, the Carnival Vista will make a short debut in New York City to offer a three and eleven night sailing from the Big Apple. The Carnival Vista will begin her voyage to her new year round home of Miami on an eleven night Caribbean sailing, departing New York City on November 18th.

The new Carnival Vista, currently under construction at Fincantieri’s Monfalcone shipyard, will debut with a number of firsts for the cruise industry, including the Kaleid-O-Slide, an IMAX Theater, Red Frog Pub Brewery, exclusive lanai cabana staterooms, and a suspended air cycle ride known as SkyRide. The Carnival Vista will also be packed with a number of Carnival favorites such as Guy’s Burger Joint, Alchemy Bar, Blue Iguana Cantina, Carnival Waterworks, and Serenity, an adult’s only retreat area.

The new Carnival Vista will be Carnival’s largest ship to date, carrying 3,936 guests.
