In a letter sent to guests scheduled to sail on Carnival Splendor’s sailings between November 1, 2014 and April 26, 2015, Carnival has announced the Carnival Splendor will reposition to Miami, Florida in 2014.
The letter sent to guests apologizes for the change in plans, cancelling cruises between November and April 2015 onboard the Carnival Splendor. Instead of sailing planned one way sailings from New York and San Juan, the ship will now sail a special 8 night eastern Caribbean repositioning cruise from New York to Miami.
Carnival Splendorās new seasonal Miami-based schedule will encompass week-long cruises departing Sundays with itineraries alternating between the eastern and western Caribbean beginningĀ November 9, 2014.Ā Ā Eastern Caribbean cruises will call at St Thomas, San Juan, Grand Turk, and Nassau, while the western Caribbean route will call at Grand Cayman, Cozumel, Belize, and Mahogany Bay in Isla Roatan.
Prior to its Miami deployment, Carnival Splendor will operate two special eight-day cruises ā a New York to San Juan departure calling at St. Thomas, St. Kitts, Antigua and St. Maarten departingĀ October 24, 2014Ā and a San Juan to Miami voyage visiting St. Croix, Martinique, Grenada, Dominica and Grand Turk departingĀ November 1, 2014.
