Carnival Paradise Delayed By Fog

The Carnival Paradise was delayed a number of hours after the Port of Tampa experienced heavy morning fog.

The Port of Tampa closed itself to traffic early this morning, forcing the ship to remain at anchor off of the Florida coast.

The port reopened around 11:15 am and the Carnival Paradise has begun making it’s way to her berth. The ship is expected to be alongside around 1:30 pm. Embarkation is now scheduled to begin at 4:30 pm and will conclude at 6:30 pm.

Carnival is asking embarking guests not to arrive at the terminal before 4:30 pm and is providing each guest with a $15 lunch credit.

Fog delay wasn’t too bad seen it worse! We did get a few hours overtime pay still not too bad, but…the dropping temps. …well THAT was bad!! Still working security is good especially when its for Carnival
