Carnival Legend Completes Fun Ship 2.0 Renovations

This week, Carnival Cruise Line’s Carnival Legend, will set sail from Tampa with a number of new features and amenities following a two week renovation.

One of the most notable additions is Carnival WaterWorks, a water play area featuring two thrilling waterslides: Green Thunder and Twister, a splash zone, mini racing slides, and the PowerDrencher bucket.

New dining and bar spaces include the Red Frog Pub, Carnival’s Caribbean themed pub; Bonsai Sushi, an Asian inspired restaurant, serving guests a number of popular Asian dishes; and Cherry On Top, the ship’s very own candy store. New entertainment options include the addition of Hasbro, The Game Show and Playlist Productions to the ship’s entertainment lineup.

In addition to the Fun Ship 2.0 upgrades, the Carnival Legend also received updates to her Lido pools, gym equipment, carpeting, tiles, and wood panels.

“With these enhancements we’ve made a terrific ship even better, adding an exhilarating water attraction, as well as a variety of fantastic new dining, bar and entertainment options,” said Gerry Cahill, Carnival president and CEO.  “Carnival Legend offers an incredible array of on-board choices and we’re looking forward to working with our travel agent partners in marketing this newly enhanced ‘Fun Ship’ to consumers,” he added.
