Carnival is reminding New Yorker’s of aĀ quickĀ way to escape the cold winter blues. Carnival hasĀ launchedĀ an ad campaign throughout New York City that reminds New York of the Carnival based ships that cruise to the Caribbean year round. These ads canĀ beĀ found on electronic billboards in Times Square, large billboards in shopping malls, subway cars, or even along major roadways on Manhattan Island.
The ad campaign coincides with the arrival of New York’s newest year round based ship, the Carnival Splendor. The 113,000 ton Carnival Splendor will replace the 88,500 ton Carnival Miracle on year round, 8 night Caribbean and Bahama cruises. The replacement of the Miracle with the SplendorĀ signifiesĀ a growing passenger base in the northeast andĀ continuesĀ Carnival’s support of homeland cruising.
