Carnival Conquest Begins Fun Ship 2.0 Transformation

Carnival Conquest cruisers are about to become another very lucky set of Carnival cruisers. Yesterday, the Carnival Conquest departed New Orleans to begin her Fun Ship 2.0 transformation in Freeport, Bahamas.

The Pig Patty, one of Guy’s speciality burgers.

The Carnival Conquest will remain in Freeport for two weeks where she will receive a variety of new dining, drinking, and entertainment options. These new additions include…

  • Guy’s Burger Joint, a complimentary burger joint serving gourmet burgers specially created by Guy Fieri along with freshly cut fries.
  • The Blue Iguana Tequlia Bar and Red Frog Rum Bar, two new poolside bars serving speciality drinks and Carnival’s signature beer, Thirsty Frog Red.
  • Blue Iguana Cantina, a complimentary poolside Mexican restaurant serving delicious custom-built burritos, tacos, and other delicious southern food.
  • Cherry on Top, a new candy store located within the atrium of the ship. Guests of all ages are easily attracted to the bins of candy, specialty desserts, and fun souvenir items.
The Conquest’s lido deck is being prepped for the transformation.

The Conquest will also receive the new Punchliner Comedy Club, Punchliner Comedy Brunch, Alchemy Bar, and the EA Sport Bar. According to Carnival, the Conquest will also receive the new Hasbro Game Show later this year.

The Carnival Conquest will return to New Orleans on October 28th to continue her year round, 7 night Caribbean cruises.

The Carnival Conquest is the fourth ship to receive the Fun Ship 2.0 renovations. The Carnival Glory is the next of Carnival’s ships to receive the renovations, which will take place later in November.
