In the spirit of Thanksgiving, the Carnival Breeze will be displaying a 50 foot tall inflatable turkey on her top deck while docked in Miami, Florida for the first time on Wednesday, November 21st.
The 1,250 pound inflatable turkey will be sporting a huge straw hat and Hawaiian shirt, facing the McArthur Causeway for all drivers and Miamians to stare in amazement. The large turkey will sit on the top deck of the Breeze, 14 stories above the water. Carnival will also be making a donation to Feeding South Flordia, which will provide 137,500 Thanksgiving meals to those in need in the South Florida community.
The Carnival Breeze will be making her maiden call into Miami, her homeport, finishing a transatlantic crossing that began about 2 weeks ago. The Carnival Breeze will then sail a special 2 night cruise before starting her year round 6 and 7 night Caribbean cruises.

If you will be around the Port of Miami on Wednesday, make sure to snap a picture of the Breeze’s turkey and send us the picture through either our Twitter account or Facebook page. We would love to share your turkey pictures right here on MCB!

We are booked on the Breeze for her April 27,2013 sailing , and it can’t come soon enough….lucky Miamians get to see the Turkey in person….
Congrats on the cruise Kathi! From what I’ve heard, you will have a great time. You’re also departing a day before my birthday (the 28th), very jealous! 🙂
