Carnival Breeze Christened in Miami (Video)

Earlier today, the Carnival Breeze was christened by her godmother, Tracy Wilson Mourning, in the Port of Miami.

Tracy Wilson Mourning is the founder of the Honey Shine mentoring program, which encourages and assists young girls to enlighten their paths and empower their future. Carnival even donated $25,000 to Honey Shine, to aid in Honey Shine’s mission of strengthening and encouraging young girls.

After the ship was blessed and named, Mourning cracked the traditional bottle of champagne over the Breeze’s name on her hull, officially christening her.

The Carnival Breeze debuted in the Mediterranean in June of this year, but will now remain homeported in Port of Miami, sailing year round 6 and 8 night Caribbean cruises.
