Anthem of the Seas To Home Port In Southampton & Ft. Lauderdale

Royal Caribbean has announced that the upcoming Anthem of the Seas will base both in Southampton and Fort Lauderdale beginning in 2015.

Anthem of the Seas is set to debut in April 2015 and will initially offer cruises from Southampton, most likely to France and the Mediterranean. Beginning in the winter of 2015, Anthem of the Seas will sail from Fort Lauderdale to the Caribbean. As of now, no itineraries have been announced for either destination.

“Our business has a long history with the port of Southampton, and over the last ten years we have annually increased the number of cruise opportunities from the port,” said Adam Goldstein, president and CEO, Royal Caribbean International. “We are now eyeing more growth with the introduction of Anthem of the Seas to the UK market in spring 2015. Our commitment to providing unrivalled holiday experiences onboard the world’s most advanced and activity-packed ships is unwavering.”

Anthem of the Seas is currently under construction at Meyer Werft in Papenburg, Germany.
