Additional Cast Join Dancing With The Stars At Sea Champions Cruise

Holland America Line has announced a number of new dance professionals, celebrities, and TV personalities will be joining the cast of Dancing With The Stars At Sea’s Champions Cruise on January 12, 2014 aboard Holland America Line’s ms Nieuw Amsterdam.

The new cast members include Derek Hough, an award winning dance professional; singer Joey Fatone; television personality Carson Kressley; and professional dancers Sharna Burgess and Emma Slater. The new cast will be joining dance professionals Tristan MacManus and Kym Johnson, and actress Sabrina Bryan for the season 1 Champions Cruise.

In addition to judging the Finale, the Dancing With The Stars At Sea cast will perform for the Nieuw Amsterdam’s guests in the main showlounge with popular routines from the TV show. The cast will also host several meet and greets, where guests will have the opportunity to ask questions and take photos with the cast. The Champions Cruise will also host a variety of dance classes led by the ship’s professional dancers.

The January 12th Champions Cruise will feature 15 winning guests (one from each ship) from the Dancing with the Stars At Sea competitions currently being held throughout the Holland America Line fleet. The winning guests from each ship and their professional shipboard dance partners will perform in the main showlounge for guests and the Dancing with the Stars judges. The winning couple will sail away with the coveted Mirror Ball Trophy and title of Holland America Line’s Dancing with the Stars At Sea Champion.

The Champions Cruise will take place on January 12, 2014 aboard ms Nieuw Amsterdam. The sailing will depart from Fort Lauderdale, sailing to Half Moon Cay, Grand Cayman, Cozumel, and Key West.
