2) Sailing Away
While similar to the aforementioned sights, soaking in the excitement of sailaway from your private balcony is truly the way to enjoy the sailaway experience. You’ll find this exciting time of your cruise much more relaxing and fun as you enjoy your own reserved space along the rail sailing away from Miami or Cozumel. It’s truly hard to beat.

But is there smoking on the balconies on either side !???
Most cruise lines have banned smoking from all balconies citing both health and safety concerns.
Yes Mike, while that is a fact it doesn’t stop people from smoking on balconies. Did you ever hear of a rule that was not broken?
Actually, #4 is not a balcony but a Lanai Stateroom on Holland America that opens onto the Promenade deck. There is a lounge outside the slider but it is the least private stateroom because the deck is open to all passengers who walk past your stateroom.
Don’t worry, we understood and were only using the photo as it best conveyed the feeling of extra space for your stateroom.
